    The International Route 66 Mother Road Festival transforms downtown Springfield into a major celebration of America’s most famous highway.

    The centennial-year weekend features classic vehicles, the Friday night cruise, exhibits, entertainment and activities around the Old State Capitol. Spectator admission is free.
