Marketing Media TV is expanding its local sports coverage with a new focus on the United Premier Soccer League’s Midwest Central conference, bringing readers news, match results, standings and stories from clubs competing across the region.
Soccer fans across Illinois and the surrounding Midwest will have a new place to follow one of the region’s growing competitive soccer scenes.
Beginning with the Fall 2026 season, Marketing Media TV will provide coverage of the United Premier Soccer League’s Midwest Central conference, following clubs throughout the season with match news, results, updated standings and other developments from around the league.
The goal is simple: make it easier for local soccer fans to follow the teams competing in our communities while bringing additional attention to the players, clubs and people helping grow the game across the Midwest.
What Is the United Premier Soccer League?
Founded in 2011, the United Premier Soccer League has grown from 10 teams in Southern California into one of the largest pro-development soccer organizations in North America.
According to the league, more than 900 men’s and women’s teams now participate across its broader organization nationwide. The Premier Division alone featured 344 clubs during the Spring 2026 season competing for 32 places in the National Playoff Bracket.
UPSL describes its Premier Division as occupying the fourth tier of the U.S. soccer pyramid, below the country’s three professional tiers.
The league plays two seasons each year — Spring and Fall — giving clubs and players a year-round competitive platform. UPSL clubs are independently owned and operated, creating a system built around local organizations while connecting them to regional and national competition.
The league also provides an important development pathway. With an average participant age of approximately 22.5, UPSL is designed to help bridge the gap between youth soccer and the professional game.
Beginning with the Fall 2026 season, UPSL is also operating under a clearer competitive structure consisting of Division 2, Division 1 and Premier, creating a progression for developing clubs within the league system.
Midwest Central Takes Center Stage
For Marketing Media TV, the Midwest Central conference is particularly interesting because many of its clubs compete in communities throughout the Chicago area and the broader region.
The current Midwest Central field includes:
Chicago Nation FC
KS Wisloka Chicago
Berber City FC
Round Lake Evolution FC
Urbana City FC
Ethos Academy Chicago
TBD FC
FC 1974 Libertyville
Force Football Club
Chicago Strikers
Most of the conference is based in Illinois, while TBD FC represents Madison, Wisconsin, giving the division a regional footprint extending beyond Chicagoland.
That local connection is exactly why Marketing Media TV is beginning its UPSL coverage here.
Fall 2026 Is Underway
The Midwest Central season has already produced its first result.
Chicago Nation FC opened its Fall 2026 campaign with a 1-0 victory over Chicago Strikers on August 22, giving Chicago Nation the early lead in the standings with three points.
