Marketing Media TV visited the Village Green on Thursday morning to document preparations for the final Rock ’N Wheels event of the 2026 season.

On Thursday morning, our team returned to Friendship Plaza with a camera to see how preparations were progressing ahead of the evening’s Rock ’N Wheels season finale.

The final event of the summer series will take place from 6 to 10 p.m. at the Village Green, located at 1 Friendship Plaza in Addison, IL.
Crews and organizers were preparing the event area Thursday morning before visitors begin arriving later in the day.
The Village of Addison is promising a major conclusion to this year’s series, with two tribute performances followed by a fireworks finale visible from the Village Green.

Jagged Little Pill, an Alanis Morissette tribute band, is scheduled to perform at 6:30 p.m. Sixteen Candles will take the stage at 8 p.m. with a live tribute to the biggest pop and rock songs of the 1980s.
Fireworks are expected to begin at approximately 9:40 p.m., bringing the final Rock ’N Wheels night of the season to a close.

Food, beverages and desserts will be available for purchase from Addison businesses, including 601 Bar & Grill, Barbara’s Polish Deli, Sweet ’n Brew, Lou Malnati’s, Muggs-N-Manor, Tacos Puebla and Holy Smokes.

The Addison Historical Museum will host an open house from 6 to 8 p.m. The evening’s museum activities will include a Craft and Vintage Fair and Revolutionary War soldier reenactors.
A car show will also take place at Green Meadow Shopping Center in the designated spaces along Lake Street.

Admission to Rock ’N Wheels is free. Accessible parking is available at Addison Village Hall. Visitors should also note that tarps are not permitted on the Village Green.
The event is scheduled for Thursday, August 27, from 6 to 10 p.m. at the Village Green, 1 Friendship Plaza, Addison, Illinois.
