    The Mendota Sweet Corn Festival is one of Illinois’s longest-running community food celebrations. The 79th annual festival is expected to draw 40,000–50,000 visitors and serve approximately 50 tons of free, hot buttered sweet corn.

    Programming includes a carnival, parade, food vendors, live entertainment and a beer garden in downtown Mendota.
