Chicago Bears vs. Detroit Lions

The Chicago Bears welcome the Detroit Lions to Soldier Field for an NFC North divisional matchup. The January home game brings divisional football to Chicago’s lakefront during the closing weeks of the season.

What to expect

Soldier Field is an outdoor stadium, so plan for winter temperatures, wind and the time spent waiting at entry gates. Check the Bears’ official game-day information for mobile tickets, parking and permitted items. Concessions and retail purchases at Bears games are cashless.

Plan your visit

The stadium uses the NFL clear-bag policy, with size limits and specific exceptions explained in the official guide. Check the team schedule again before traveling because games in eligible NFL flex-scheduling windows may change date or kickoff time. Plan your trip home around the final confirmed schedule.
