The new Marketing Media TV Events destination brings upcoming events from across Illinois into one clean, searchable and mobile-friendly guide. At launch, the calendar already features 197 upcoming events, with new listings added as they are confirmed.

The Events guide goes beyond Chicago. It brings together noteworthy experiences from communities throughout the state, helping readers discover what is happening nearby or plan a trip around something special.
Events are organized into eight easy-to-recognize categories:

- Sports
- Tech & Gaming
Each listing includes the event date, time, venue, city, admission information when available and a link to the official event website. Selected events can also be marked as Featured, making major or sponsored experiences easier to spot.
Find the Right Event in Seconds
The guide was built for quick browsing. Visitors can choose All upcoming, Today, Tomorrow, This weekend, Next 7 days or Ongoing to immediately narrow the calendar.
Additional tools make it even easier to find the right plan:
- Search: Look for an event, venue or city.
- Category filters: Browse only the types of events that interest you.
- Agenda and calendar views: Switch between a detailed list and a traditional calendar.
- More filters: Refine results by city, price and state.
- Month navigation: Jump directly to July, August, September or any other available month.
The default view focuses on events happening today and in the future, while long-running experiences that began earlier remain available through the Ongoing filter. That keeps the main calendar useful without hiding events that are still open.
How to Use the Events Guide
- Visit marketingmedia.tv/events.
- Select a date range such as Today, This weekend or Next 7 days.
- Choose a category or enter a keyword in the search bar.
- Use More filters if you want to narrow the results by city or price.
- Open any event card to see the full details and visit the official event website.
The guide works on desktop computers and phones, so it can be used while planning at home or deciding where to go at the last minute.
The Most Important Feature: Submit Your Own Event
Marketing Media TV Events is not only a place to browse. Anyone can submit an event for consideration. Businesses, venues, community organizations, promoters and local residents can use the Submit an Event form to tell us what is happening.
Provide the event name, date and time, venue, city, official website and a clear description. Our team will review the information and, when approved, add the event to the guide. This gives organizers another way to reach people across Illinois while helping readers find experiences they might otherwise miss.

Illinois is the first statewide edition of the Marketing Media TV Events platform. The system was created with future expansion in mind, making it possible to build dedicated event guides for additional states later.
