STREAMWOOD, Ill. — One of Streamwood’s biggest community events of the year is returning for a milestone weekend. The 30th annual Streamwood Summer Celebration will take place Friday, July 24, through Sunday, July 26, 2026, at Hoosier Grove Park, 700 W. Irving Park Road.

Admission to the festival is free. Event hours are 5–11 p.m. Friday, noon–11 p.m. Saturday and noon–8 p.m. Sunday.

The three-day celebration will feature live music, carnival rides, food vendors, games, children’s activities, bingo, contests and a community business expo. This year’s “There’s No Place Like Home” theme will bring a touch of “The Wizard of Oz” to the weekend, with themed challenges, contests and a “Follow the Yellow Brick Road” scavenger hunt for young children.

Friday’s entertainment includes Trabuco Latin Salsa Band and popular Chicago-area cover band Mike & Joe. Saturday’s lineup features local dance groups, School of Rock, Sofa Kings and a headlining performance by 7th Heaven at 8:30 p.m. Sunday’s performers include Circle of Fifths, The Shagadelics and the Abby Kay Band.

The annual Summer Celebration Parade steps off at 10:30 a.m. Saturday from Bartlett Road and Streamwood Boulevard. Festivalgoers can also enjoy demonstrations from the Streamwood Police Department’s K-9 unit, children’s crafts, raffle drawings and a Sunday afternoon fire hose spray hosted by the Streamwood Fire Department.

Carnival rides and attractions will operate throughout the festival. Unlimited-ride wristbands will be available for $27 from noon to 4 p.m. Saturday and Sunday. Individual ride tickets may also be purchased near the carnival area.

Parking at Hoosier Grove Park is limited to vehicles with handicapped or festival permits. Free shuttle service will be available from Streamwood Village Hall, Park Place Family Recreation Center and Hanover Countryside Elementary School. Bicycle parking will also be available at the park.

Guests are encouraged to bring folding chairs or blankets for seating near the Main Stage. The carnival accepts cash only, and an ATM will be available nearby.

The published schedule is tentative and may be updated before the event. For the latest information, complete entertainment schedule and transportation details, visit StreamwoodSummerCelebration.org.
