Marketing Media TV is launching Local Jobs, a new section connecting employers with people looking for work across Chicago and the surrounding suburbs. To mark the launch, submitting and publishing a job opening is completely free.
If your business is hiring, you can now share an opening directly through our website. There is no account to create and no payment required during this free launch period.
A simple way to share your next opening
Visit Local Jobs and select Post a job. Add the job title, company, city or location, employment type, a short description, and an application email address or website link. You can also include a pay range to help candidates understand the opportunity.
We also ask for a private contact email so our team can reach you about the submission. That address is separate from the application contact you choose to display publicly.
Every opening is reviewed before publication
After you submit an opening, it goes to the Marketing Media TV team for review. It will appear publicly only after approval. Candidates can then apply directly to your business using the email address or link provided in the listing.
Listings are deleted after 14 days
Each submission has a maximum lifetime of 14 days from the day it is added. After that period, the job opening and its submission details are automatically deleted from our website’s system. The review period is included in those 14 days; approval does not restart the clock.
Still hiring after the listing is removed? You can submit the opening again for a new 14-day period. This is a fresh submission, subject to review, rather than an automatic renewal. You can also choose an earlier closing date if applications need to close sooner.
Free now, with paid listings planned for the future
Local Jobs is currently completely free. We plan to introduce a publication fee in the future, but no pricing or start date has been announced. For now, local employers can use the section without paying a listing fee.
